4.2.1. DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS
Pilot Wire Mode (for France only).
In this mode the radiator is controlled by a remote control unit.
1. Press the "Function" key until the relevant key is displayed.
2. Select the desired temperature using "+" and "-" keys. The operating mode is selected by the Pilot
Wire control unit.
The temperature can be set in the range 10÷32°C. Upon switching from pilot wire mode to comfort
mode, the new comfort temperature is the one set for the pilot wire. If the night temperature is
higher, the system automatically reduces the temperature to comfort temperature minus 0.5°C.
Comfort Mode
It is the standard mode of use of the radiator to keep the ambient temperature to the value set.
1. Press the "Function" key until the relevant key is displayed.
2. Select the desired temperature using "+" and "-" keys.
The minimum value that can be set is equal to the night temperature plus 0.5°C. The maximum value
is 32°C.
Night Mode
By selecting this operating mode, the appliance keeps the ambient to the night temperature set.
The desired night temperature setting takes place as follows:
1. Press the "Function" key until the relevant key is displayed.
2. Select the night temperature using "+" and "-" keys.
The maximum value that can be set is equal to the comfort temperature minus 0.5°C. The minimum
value is 7°C.
Freeze protection mode
By selecting this mode, the ambient temperature is set to 7°C.
Press the "Function" key until the relevant key is displayed.
Holiday mode
By selecting this function, the radiator enters in freeze protection mode for a period of time set by the user.

Press the "Function" key until the relevant key is displayed.

Using "+" and "-" keys, it is possible to select the duration of the holiday period, from 12 hours to
40 days, with 1-hour increments from 12 to 24 hours and then with day increments.
3.
At the end the thermostat enters in comfort mode.
Programming mode
In this mode the ambient temperature is kept at Comfort level or Night level according to the time
slots preset or programmed by the user.
1. Press the "Function" key until the relevant key is displayed.
2. Press the "Programming" key to select one of the two preset programmes (P1 or P2) and the
programming customised by the user (P3).
For the weekly programming refer to the suitable section of the manual (4.3.1 and 4.3.2).
