5. Take the reading from the circuit or component to be tested. If the resolu-
tion is not satisfactory, remove the meter from the circuit and change to
the next lower range. When measuring resistance, adjust the 0Ω ADJ.

Note: If the pointer moves below the far left side of the scale, this may
indicate that the polarity is reversed and the meter is reading a negative
value. Reverse the leads and read the meter again.
