Tune into a channel.

Hold down the numeric button [1] to
[6] for 2 sec. or more until the display
blinks once.
Category Setting
You can toggle the category on and off every time you
hold down [BAND] for 2 sec. or more. If the category is
set to on, the unit operates as follows for each button:
Category mode ON
Appears at category mode ON.
• Enables category switching.
• Enables channel selection only within the
category selected by category switching.

Press [DISP].
Notes:
• "– – – –" or blank space is displayed when there is no
information.
• "UPDATING" is displayed when channel information is
updated.
Note: New channels overwrite existing saved channel
after this procedure.
Category Selection

category name. (CAT ON)

name is displayed to select a category.
Seeking will start.
This function disables the audience from selecting the
locked channel.

Hold down [] for 2 sec. or more to activate
the parental lock setting mode.

Enter a 4-digit code and press [BAND] (SET).
(Default: 1111)

Press [] or [] to select a channel
number.

Press [BAND] (SET) to be locked.
Locked.
To unlock the channel number:
Press [BAND] (SET). ("L" is disappeared. )

to the regular mode.

activate the Parental Lock ON/
OFF selection mode.

Enter a 4-digit code on the remote control and
press [BAND] (SET).

Turn [VOL] clockwise or
counterclockwise to adjust.
Direct Access
A channel can be directly selected.
Example: channel number 10

"CODE SET" is displayed for 2 sec. and regular
mode resumes.
To initialize the 4-digit code:
 Hold down [] for 2 sec. or more to activate the
parental lock setting mode.
 Hold down [DISP] for 10 sec. or more. (The 4-digit
code will return to the default.)
Notes:
• To return to the regular mode, press [DISP].
• Entry of wrong code number or invalid channel
number results in the display of "INVALID" and set the
unit back to the pre-entry status.

• Other setting screens in "Function Setting" appear
in turns after the demonstration setting screen be
pressing [VOL] (PUSH SEL: Select). ( Operating
Instructions)
• To suspend direct selection, press [DISP].
• If no operation takes place for more than 5 seconds,
the display returns to the regular mode.
Notes:
• The previous screen reappears if a nonexistent channel
is selected.
• "INVALID CHANNEL" is displayed and the previous
screen reappears in a few seconds if an off-the-air
channel is selected.
"LOCKED": Locked by the parental lock setting. Follow
the procedure below to unlock.
 Hold down [#] for 2 sec. or more.
 Enter a 4-digit code and press [BAND] to confi rm.
