An aiming beam is emitted via the viewfinder.
This should be directed over the middle of the
barcode.
Hold the scanner over the barcode, press the
key and direct the aiming beam on the middle
of the barcode.
Hold the scanner closer to the barcode with
smaller barcodes and further away from the
barcode with larger barcodes.
With a highly reflective barcode (e.g. due to a
coating) it may be necessary to hold the scan-
ner at an inclined angle, so that the barcode
will be read.
Scan the barcode "Programme country-spe-
cific keypad". (Fig. 3)
Scanning
Then scan the numeric barcode (according to
the country code, see Fig. 4) in the pro-

gramme chart (Page 13).
