IntelliCode on the blank packaging label
!

Fig. 8
With a few, limited blanks – primarily from third-party manufacturers (e.g. Shofu) -
no blank information is contained in the IntelliCode for process technological
reasons. These blanks must be registered manually (in the usual way) in the CAM
software.
The IntelliCode on blank packs, which contain more than one blank (e.g.
VITABLOCS Mark II 5-pack), must each be scanned once per blank. The same
IntelliCode applies for each blank in this case! It is therefore essential to retain the
packaging!

The IntelliCode
on the blank packaging
!
label comprises an 81-digit encrypted code
(see also the letter/number sequence below
@
the code
). (Fig. 7+8)
The code contains blank-specific information
such as serial number, batch number, material
type, height, shrinkage factor, shade and
shape.
If, contrary to expectations, the code could not
be scanned, register the blank manually (in the
usual way) in the CAM software.
The IntelliCode on the blank label (Fig. 9)
does not contain any blank-specific informa-
tion such as batch number etc.
This code is used specifically for easily and
quickly finding blanks again that have already
been created in the database.
For process technological reasons some
blanks do not carry a code. In this case it is
recommended to retain the packaging label.
