Note
An initial requirement for fitting module 2, liquid dispensing 7 - 12 - Clean/Soiled side is that module 1, liquid dispensing
1 - 6 - Clean/Soiled side has already been fitted in the machine.
Disconnect the machine from the electrical mains and ensure power cannot be switched on again in error.
Remove the connection box cover plate (Pos. 1) and lid parts (Pos. 2 and Pos. 3), see Fig. 1.
Loosen the holding plate holder.
Slide the captive nuts M4 over the holes in the component bracket.
Fasten the electronic module holder including the fitted additional module EZL 230-A to the component bracket with
the bolts M4 x 12.5, see Fig. 2, Pos. 1.
Tighten the holding plate holder.
Fit the adapter EV 230 with spacers on the connection box component bracket, see Fig. 3, Pos. 1.
Connect the adapter EV 230 earth, see Fig. 5, Pos. 4.
Modify the existing plug connections as follows:
Disconnect plug EZL 230-A - 48X (module 1, liquid dispensing 1 - 6) and fit it in socket EZL 230-A - 48X (module 2,
liquid dispensing 7 - 12), see Fig. 5, Pos. 1a.
Disconnect plug EZL 230-A - 49X (module 1, liquid dispensing 1 - 6) and fit it in socket EZL 230-A - 49X (module 2,
liquid dispensing 7 - 12), see Fig. 5, Pos. 1b.
Lay and connect the wiring harnesses as follows:
Warning!
The power and control wiring harnesses must be laid separately in order to avoid interference in the control circuit
(electromagnetic compatibility).
Excess cable should be gathered such that current flows in opposite directions and tied to the cross strut in order to avoid
any antenna effect, see Fig. 5, Pos. B.
Lay the wiring harness (power) 48X-41X from module 1 (liquid dispensing 1 - 6) EZL 230-A - 48X to module 2 (liquid
dispensing 7 - 12) EZL 230-A - 41X, see Fig. 5, Pos. 2a.
Lay the wiring harness (power) 49X-46X from module 1 (liquid dispensing 1 - 6) EZL 230-A - 49X to module 2 (liquid
dispensing 7 - 12) EZL 230-A - 46X, see Fig. 5, Pos. 2b.
Lay the wiring harness (power) 47X-100X from module 2 (liquid dispensing 7 - 12) EZL 230-A - 47X, parallel to the
existing wiring harnesses on the connection strip along the component bracket, Fig. 4, Pos. 1, to EV 230- 110X,
see Fig. 5, Pos. 2c.
Note
Lay the wiring harness (control) 51X-52X-101X from module 2 (liquid dispensing 7 - 12) EZL 230-A - 51X-52X,
parallel to the existing wiring harnesses along the fascia panel, to EV 230 - 111X, see Fig. 5, Pos. 2d.

Connect the electronic module ELZ 230-A and adapter EV 230 in accordance with the wiring diagram.
