Operating the appliance
WARNING!
Risk of fi re!
Oil and other liquids may catch fi re due to the high
temperature of the air fryer.
− Extremely fatty foods, e.g. sausages, are not suitable for
cooking in the appliance. The fat will drip into the fryer pan
and burn.
− Remove the fryer pan from the appliance.
− Place the frying basket into the fryer pan so that the notch on the handle fi ts into
the recess on the fryer pan and clicks into place.
− Fill the frying basket with the food. For the recommended fi lling levels see the table
on page 15.
− Hold the fryer pan fi rmly by the handle and insert it completely into the appliance
from the front.
Setting the cooking time and temperature
− Press the On/Off switch
− Press the Selection button
− Use the Control button

The icons for animated fan, animated heating element, cooking temperature as well as
the remaining cooking time will be displayed during operation.
While preparing the food, you can remove the fryer pan from the appliance at any time to
check the progress. The appliance switches itself off automatically.
− Give the frying basket a shake after half the cooking time to redistribute the food.
This helps ensure that the food is cooked evenly.
