1. IMPORTANT REMARK

Congratulations! You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment.
We thank you for having purchased our EPC processed system.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read this manual before connecting the unit in order to
obtain its maximum performance.
We recommend our authorised Technical Services whenever any maintenance task
should be needed so that optimum operation shall be achieved.

1.1. Safety Precautions

The EPC is capable of delivering maximum sound pressure levels greater than 130dB SPL
at 1 meter. These sound pressure levels can cause permanent damage to human hearing.
Protect your ears when working at high power next to the system.
The EPC is a closed sound system designed to operate exclusively with ECLER
amplifiers and the EPC200 processor, not only offering a well-balanced sound, but also ensuring
perfect operating safety. Using other components than the specified ones, be it from ECLER or
from other manufactures, will both worsen the system performance and mean a risk of serious
damage to your loudspeakers.
The mids-highs enclosures EPC215D should be connected with 4-core cables. DO NOT
use conventional 2-core cabling (see paragraph 3.4)
Never hang the enclosures from the hole cover plates found on the sides of the
enclosures, use ATM's MEGS PIVOTAL SERIES rigging system (see paragraph 3.2)

2. INTRODUCTION

EPC7000 PROCESSED SOUND SYSTEM
The EPC7000 (ECLER PROCESSED CABINET) has been specially designed for fixed or
mobile installations where high sound pressure levels and exceptional audio quality is required.
We are talking about a processed system offering 6136W RMS/4Ω, capable of delivering a
maximum SPL level of 148dB/1m.
The system consists of two EPC215D midrange / high frequency enclosures, two
EPC218D subwoofer enclosures, three SPM TECHNOLOGY power amplifiers (PAM1100,
PAM4100 and PAM6100) and the EPC200 processor. This last component, apart from actively
dividing the audio spectrum into three bands, equalizes each of these bands and allows
accurate phase correction on each way. This process is combined with the anticlip circuits from
the high frequencies amplifier PAM1100 and the A
