About this manual
This manual describes the installation of a MUNDUS Premium
PT 10 patch fitting. The procedure also applies to all MUNDUS
Premium patch fittings in connection with laminated safety
glass (LSG).
Target group
Only properly qualified staff is authorized to
mount DORMA glass fittings.
Requirements for glass door wing
- Laminated safety glass (LSG in accordance with EN ISO
12543-1)

- The installation must be carried out by two people
- Wear protective clothing

General instructions
- Check the glass for defects and damage before installation.
- Clean the glass surfaces before installing the patch
fittings. Use only silicone-free and oil-free cleaners.

 Please follow the enclosed installation manual
1 Observe the limited processing time of 3 min-
utes at a room temperature of +5°up to +35°C .

Observe the safety data sheet, technical
information, and processing instructions
of the adhesive manufacturer!

Remove any mixing tube contents before use
in order to avoid impurities in the mixture and to
ensure optimal adhesive hardening
(disposal according to safety data sheet).

comes out from the edges. Do not remove this until

Let the adhesive harden.
The hardening period until readiness for
installation is 15 minutes at a room
temperature of ca. 23 °C.

After 15 minutes have passed carefully remove
the hardened adhesive.

Apply the sticker visibly on the door stating
that the door may only be carefully moved
in the first 24 hours.
If the door is hung during 45 min.
after installation ability was reached,
we recommend to as sure that the
patch fittings are not exposed to any
impact stress until expiration of these
45 min.
