6. Assemble the handle (RGE 1000 / RGG 25):
• Adjust the length of the harness so that the hook is approximately 15 cm below your waist;
• Place the harness so that it runs over the left shoulder, crossing the chest and back (Figure 8.7).
• Locate the product to the harness by using the securing clip ensuring that the angle of the cutting is parallel
to the surface being cut (Figure 7.12). The securing clip must be located at the right hip.
• To remove the handle from the product, open the securing clip.

8. OPERATION
Before operating the equipment, check the following:

Proper clothing as well as safety eye, hand, foot, head and ear protection is worn, check SAFETY INSTRUC-
TIONS Chapter.

Always visually inspect to see that the product are not damaged. Check whether all parts of the product are
fi rmly attached and make sure that safety devices are installed.
3.
Make sure no explosive or fl ammable materials are present.
4.
RGG 25 and RGE 1000 models: Ensure that you select a trimmer device suitable for the desired operation.
Do not use the cutter blade for edging or scalping (scalping is removing top growth leaving the earth
bear). Both of these operations are done with the nylon spool. Use the cutter blade for cutting weeds up to
in 20 mm of diameter.
IMPORTANT:

such as hedge hogs, frogs etc , and move them to a safe location.
