• Wind the two parts of the trimmer line fi rmly clockwise around the spool, each part on the spool's guide
(Figure 9.4).
• Insert each end of the lines in the respective holes. The lines should be out 150mm on each side.
• Screw the bumper J counter-clockwise until it`s completely and securely locked. Remove the spindle lock
(for models RGG 25 / RGE 1000).
ATTENTION:
make sure that the line and the product are operating correctly. Never use steel thread.

3. Fuel (RGG 25 model):
A. Empty the fuel tank 8 when storing the product over 30 days to avoid deterioration of the fuel by unscrewing
the tank cap and use a proper fuel pump to empty the tank.
B. The fuel tank of this product is fi tted with a fi lter located at the free end of fuel pipe. Check weekly if the fi lter
is clogged with dirt. If it is, clean it.
4. Air fi lter (RGG 25 model):
A. Inspect the air fi lter regularly. Clean it at least every 25 hours or replace with a new one if necessary. Follow
the instructions bellow:
• Remove the screw and open the air fi lter case (Figure 9.5);
• Tap the fi lter on a stable surface to remove dust. Use high pressure air (max. 3 bar) to remove stubborn dust.
• Apply a small amount of air fi lter oil on the fi lter to increase the fi lter performance. Wring out surplus oil and
put the fi lter into the case.
• Close the air fi lter case and fi x it with the screw.
After changing the nylon line, run the product under no load for at least a minute to
