1 LC display: will indicate the battery status, the

Note: When the transmitter is locked, only the adjusting
mode for the lock function can be called to deactivate the
lock again ( chapter 5.1.4).

2 Important Notes

The transmitter is suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect it against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).

Insert batteries of the same type only and always
replace the batteries completely.

Remove the batteries if the transmitter is not used
for a longer period (e. g. more than a week). Thus,
the transmitter will not be damaged in case of bat-
tery leakage.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.

No guarantee claims for the transmitter and no lia-
bility for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the transmitter is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not
correctly connected or operated, or if it is not
repaired in an expert way.
If the transmitter is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
chap-
ronment.
Dead batteries or defective rechargeable batteries
do not belong in the household rubbish; always take
them to a special waste disposal (e. g. collection con-
tainer at your retailer).
3 Applications
The pocket transmitter IN-64TB is designed for opera-
tion with the receiver IN-64R from JTS. The trans-
mitter and the receiver will create a wireless audio
trans mission system operating in the UHF range of
790 – 814 MHz with 64 preset transmission channels
(divided into 4 channel groups). The transmission
range will depend on local conditions and may reach a
maximum of 100 m. The REMOSET function of the
system will allow automatic frequency tuning between
the transmitter and the receiver.
The pocket transmitter is supplied with the lavalier
microphone CM-501. Instead of the CM-501, it will
also be possible to use other microphones from the
JTS product range which are designed for operation
with a pocket transmitter and equipped with a 4-pole
mini XLR connection, e. g. the headband microphone
CX-504 or the instrument microphone CX-516W.

3.1 Conformity and approval

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that
the unit IN-64TB is in accordance with the basic
requirements and the other relevant regulations of
the directive 1995/5/EC. The declaration of conformity
can be found in the Internet via the JTS home page
(www.jts-germany.de).
