Relays, contactors, solenoids or coils of electromechanical brakes installed close to the output
inverters may occasionally generate interferences in the control circuitry. To eliminate this
effect, RC suppressors (with AC power supply) or freewheel diodes (with DC power supply)
must be connected in parallel to the coils of these devices.
The rated operating voltage of the DBW04 is configured by means of the DIP switch S1,
located on the CDB1 board. A model of line 600 V (DBW040250D5069SZ) can be adjusted
for three different voltage ranges: 500 - 525 V, 550 - 575 V, 600 V or 660 - 690 V, see

The setting of the braking actuation voltage is also performed on the CDB1 board; however,
by means of the DIP switch S2. The values of voltage levels are presented in
22. As factory setting, the braking actuation voltage is 20 % above the link rated voltage.
