3.3. USE CONTRARY TO THE INTENDED PURPOSE

Do not place or position on the workbench. Not for transporting people.
Not for use in areas where the floor slopes upwards or downwards.
Not for use in areas where the floor is loose or unpaved.
Do not run the workbench over obstacles.
Run the workbench in reverse only for short distances when positioning. Not for continuous
running.
When the drive unit is extended, do not move the workbench without activating the drive.
Do not overload the workbench, worktop, drawers or storage shelves.
Do not make any unauthorised changes or modifications to the workbench, control system,
drive unit or battery.
Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

3.4. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Comply with the national and regional regulations for safety and accident prevention. Protective
work wear such as safety shoes and safety gloves appropriate for the risks associated with the in-
tended activities must be selected and provided.

3.5. QUALIFICATIONS OF PERSONNEL

Specialists for mechanical work
Specialists in the sense of this documentation are persons who are familiar with assembly work,
mechanical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of the products and
who possess the following qualifications:
Qualification /training in the field of mechanics as specified in the nationally applicable regula-
tions.
Specialists for electrical work
Electrical specialists in the sense of this documentation are persons who are familiar with assembly
work, electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of the products
and who possess the following qualifications:
Qualification /training in the field of electrical technology as specified in the nationally applic-
able regulations.
Trained person
Trained persons in the sense of this documentation are persons who have been trained to perform
work in the areas of transport, storage and operation.
