4.2 Operating basic instructions

The PROLITE-60 offers five operation controls:
In order to accede to each operation mode, press the corresponding key. An
operation mode remains activated while the luminous indicator adjacent to the mode
selection key lit in green colour.

4.2.1 MARKER control:

This control is activated when pressing MARKER [2] key, the field MKR1 appears
in red colour on the screen, composed by the wavelength measurement (λ) and the
power level (Power) corresponding to the MKR1 mark position
By means of turning the rotary selector [8] is possible to place the mark
throughout the represented spectrum on the desired wavelength. Also the marker can
be positioned using the alphanumeric keypad [7], in order to enter a value directly within
the available value range (from 1250 to 1650 nm) and later validate it by pressing the
rotary selector [8].
When pressing afresh the MARKER key [2], the MKR∆ incremental marker is
activated indicating the wavelength differential values (λ) and power level (Power) with
respect to the main marker (MKR1) position.
