Tight Fitting Breathing Tubes BT-60 Series
This respirator system helps reduce exposures to certain airborne contaminants. Before use, the wearer must read and understand these
User Instructions. Follow all local regulations. In the U.S., a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the
requirements of 29 CFR 1910.134, including training, fit testing and medical evaluation. In Canada, CSA standard Z94.4 requirements
must be met and/or requirements of the applicable jurisdiction, as appropriate. Misuse may result in injury, sickness or death. For
correct use, consult supervisor and User Instructions, or call 3M Technical Service in USA at 1 800 243-4630 and in Canada at
1-800-267-4414.

These User Instructions provide information specific to utilizing the 3M™ Breathing Tubes BT-60 Series with approved 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece
Respirators and approved 3M™ Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR). Read and understand these User Instructions as well as the User
Instructions for the half or full facepiece respirator and motor blower being used. Keep all User Instructions for reference. If you have questions

System Description
BT-60 Series Tight Fitting Breathing Tubes, BT-63 Length Adjusting Tight Fitting Breathing Tube and BT-64 Heavy Duty Tight Fitting Breathing Tube,
are intended to connect a tight fitting half or full-facepiece to a powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) listed in the approval label to form a complete
NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health) approved respiratory system. When used in accordance with its NIOSH approval, this
assembly helps provide respiratory protection against certain gases, vapors and particulates. This system is for occupational use only.

Contaminants that are dangerous to your health include those that you may not be able to see or smell. Leave the contaminated area immediately if
any of the following conditions occur:
– Any part of the system becomes damaged.
– Airflow into the respirator decreases or stops.
– Breathing becomes difficult.
– You feel dizzy or your vision is impaired.
– You taste or smell contaminants.
– Your face, eyes, nose or mouth become(s) irritated.
– You suspect that the concentration of contaminants may have reached levels at which this respirator may no longer provide adequate protection.
