11.5 Replacing the miniature fuse

If the miniature fuse is defective
(T4AL/250V), then it can be replaced with the
spare fuse supplied.

holder

- Press the power switch

- Remove the power plug from the power

- Use a small screwdriver to push the fuse
holder

- Then, pull out the fuse holder
with your hand.
- Take the defective miniature fuse out of the
holder and put it to the side.
- Take the new miniature fuse out of the
reserve holder and plug it into the centre of
the holder.
- Carefully push the fuse holder
compartment as far as it will go.

12 Troubleshooting

If at some time, the studio flash unit no lon-
ger works as it should, for example there is a
nonsensical display in the DIGITAL DISPLAY
of the studio flash unit, then switch off the
studio flash unit for approx. 10 seconds with
the power switch
. The studio flash unit
should now operate "normally" when swit-
ched on. If this is not the case, then please
contact your dealer.
Here are some problems that may occur
while the studio flash unit is being used with
possible causes and/or remedies.
The studio flash unit is switched on, but
none of the displays of the unit are
illuminated.
• The power cord is not plugged in correctly
or not plugged in at all:
Plug in the power cord correctly.
• The miniature fuse is defective:
Replace the defective miniature fuse with a
new one.
The displays of the studio flash unit illumi-
nate, but it is not possible to trigger a flash
• The capacitor of the studio flash unit may
be defective:
Please contact your dealer.
The modelling lamp flickers
• The bulb of the modelling lamp is defective:
Replace the defective bulb with a new one.
