automatically created by adding 2 to the first digit of the user code. E.g.
when the user code is 56789, the duress code becomes 76789.
•
When a user enters the duress code in stead of the normal user code, the
DU-OUT terminal [f] is switched to ground and can be used to trigger a
(silent) alarm.
User code limitations
•
To avoid overlapping of valid user codes and duress codes, and since the
duress code is based on the first digit of the user codes, it is not allowed
to have user codes that only differ by +2 or -2 in the first digit.
Example: if a user code 56789 exists in the system, user codes 36789
and 76789 will be refused by the system when trying to set them as
other user codes.
Accelerated code
•
The accelerated code consists of the first two digits of the user code(s).
•
When enabled (programming code 42 or 52) the user can activate the
output(s) by entering only the first 2 digits of his user code. To deactivate
the output the full user code is always required.

Resetting the system
•
When switching between single-user and multi user mode the keypad is
completely reset and all values are set back to factory default except for
the master code.
Note: make sure to change the master code to 4 digits prior to switching
from multi-user to single-user mode.
•
The system takes about 3 seconds to rest; do not enter any code before
the 2 confirmation beeps are heard.
Resetting the master code
•
In case the master code is lost, use following procedure.
•
Open the keypad (see §6).
Be very careful, touching live wires can cause life-threatening
electroshocks.
•
Disconnect the power supply and set the DAP (Direct Access to
Programming) jumper [5] to the ON-position.
•
Reconnect the power supply; the buzzer will sound.
•
Place the DAP jumper [5] back in the OFF-position. This puts the keypad
in programming mode.
•
Close the keypad (see §6).
•
Set a new master code.
