Fitting Instructions

Sealing axial tensile pipe coupling for metal pipes with Ø 26.9 - 711 mm. PLAST GRIP: Sealing pipe coupling, with axial tensile strength, for connecting
plastic pipes Ø 40-400 mm. COMBI GRIP: Sealing pipe coupling, with axial tensile strength, for connecting plastic pipes with metallic pipes Ø 40-406 mm.

If there is a risk of corrosion, use bolts and bars made from stainless steel (CrNi). To protect couplings in the long-term,
use shrink sleeves or protection tapes.

The specified tolerances must not be exceeded or combined. They refer to static loads and radially rigid pipes.
A safety factor has to be included for dynamic loads such as pressure surges, external forces, etc.

11. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION (11-15) MUST BE OBSERVED! 
Remove burrs and clean pipe ends. Damage such as scratches, cracks, etc., or coatings such as paint, rust, etc., must be
removed from the sealing lip area.
