If the fault is not included in the list above, specify the detected fault on the label.
Please note that if the valves are returned without any defect identification, the costs relating to the sample analysis will be
charged as per the current repair price-list. If you do not have the current price-list, you may request one from Pergola.******
Failure to identify the defects may increase the amount of time needed to complete repairs.
An authorization request is needed before any valve is sent to Pergola.
The Viproxy valves requiring repairs shall be sent to the following address: Pergola S.r.l. Via Statale, 11/13 - 25011 Ponte S.
Marco di Calcinato (BS) Italy, subject to prior authorization of Pergola S.r.l.
In this case the customer must provide the following data:
•
duly completed shipping documents
•
list of valves (quantity and lot)
•
contact person (address and phone number)
•
quantity of the identified defects.
Preparation of the valves before shipment (to be carried out by the customer).
Before disassembling the valves from the cylinder, wipe them externally with a clean cloth soaked in isopropyl
alcohol and check that the cylinder is empty.
Never use inflammable solutions or solutions containing ammonia!
Do not immerse the valve in water or other liquids.
•
Prepare in advance bags and boxes for the packaging.
•
Remove the valve from the cylinder only when the box and the bag are ready to guarantee the internal cleanliness
of the valve.
•
If the original packaging is unavailable, Pergola will provide the customer with a quantity of boxes and bags as
required for shipment. In urgent situations, and upon prior authorization from Pergola, alternative packaging can be
used so long as it does not damage the valves during transportation.
•
Blow the threaded connection (1) of the valve with nitrogen or dry filtered air to remove any Teflon residue and/or
possible dirt residue.
•
Put the valve into the bag and close it.
•
Put the valve into the box and close it.
If the cleanliness of the returned valves are considered insufficient, the customer will be charged with the costs for cleaning as per
the current repair price-list. For example, the presence of organic substances (e.g. blood), oil or hydrocarbons on the valve is
considered unacceptable and will require washing at Pergola's premises and all associated costs will be charged to the customer. If
the valves are not put in bags/ packages or if the packaging is otherwise incorrect, the costs for valve cleaning will be charged to
the customer.

Disposal
At the end of its service life, the valve must be collected and disposed of separately from other waste in compliance with
currently valid national legislation applicable to the specific case. This must be taken into account by the owner considering that
suitable differentiated collection, for the purpose of subsequent recycling, treatment and correct disposal of the valve,
contributes to avoiding possible negative effects on the environment and health and promotes re-use and/or recycling of valve
materials. Improper disposal of the valve exposes owner to the application of the administrative sanctions established by
applicable national legislation.
