7. INSTALLATION

DANGER!
Risk of electric shock. Do not touch electrically energized parts or devices. Before beginning the device
installation, disconnect the motor power supply.
DANGER!
The temperature of the motor surface may be high and cause burns and injuries. Before beginning the
sensor installation, wait for the necessary time for the motor to cool down. Use proper instruments to
measure the motor temperature.
ATTENTION!
Acceptable environmental operating conditions: temperature from -10 °C to 70 °C (nominal conditions)
To save energy, in firmware version 2.1.4 or later, all sensors will be shipped from the factory inactivated.
Therefore, before installing the sensor on the motor, it is necessary to activate it. This is done using the
app WEG Motor Scan.

7.1. INSTALLATION OF THE APPLICATION

The WEG Motor Scan application is available in the iOS™ and Android™ platforms. It can be downloaded at the
App Store and Google Play Store by searching for WEG MOTOR SCAN or through QR Code:
1. With the application installed, open the WEG Motor Scan and click on
"LOG IN" to enter your WEG IoT account.
If you do not have a valid account yet, click
on "REGISTER" in order to register.
You can also do it on the web: iot.weg.net.

7.2. SENSOR ACTIVATION

After installation and registration on WEG IoT Platform, follow the steps described directly in the app or as
indicated in the procedure:
1. If necessary, log in again - "Log in"
