Which materials are not suitable for placing in the
microwave?
Not all materials can be placed in a microwave.
Below shows which materials are not suitable:
• Cookware made of porcelain and ceramics
• Non-heat-resistant bowls
• Metal bowls
• Metal racks (except the supplied rack)
• Aluminium foil
• Flammable material such as plastic, paper,
plastic, textile, wood, flowers or other
flammable material.
• The packaging of sealed packaged foods can
easily burst, which may cause fire.
• Keep warm packages. These can be ignited.
• Metal locking strips
• Pillows filled with grain, cherry pits or gel.
• Sealed bowls and eggs. Eggs may burst due to
the pressure.
If you're not sure, you can test the material in question

by following the procedure below.
1.Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold
water (250ml) along with the utensil in question.
2.Cook on maximum power for 1 minute.
3.Carefully feel the utensil. If the empty utensil is
warm, do not use it for
microwave cooking.
4.Do not exceed 1 minute cooking time.
