SEAL
Foil will only be sealed.
• Use this function for liquids or
• If you want to seal without vacuuming.
• Press this button in order to cancel the pump-
ing process ahead of time and to seal earlier.
NOTE:
The device features an overheat protection
mechanism. After each operation the SEAL
function will be prevented for 15 seconds.
DRY / MOIST
Select MOIST or DRY function. Select MOIST
for meat, as it contains a lot of meat juice. For a
peeled apple, select DRY.
• When selecting MOIST function, the vacuum
pump will be turned off during sealing.
• When selecting DRY function, the vacuum
pump will also run during sealing operation.
NORMAL / TURBO
Select NORMAL or TURBO function.
• NORMAL function is suitable for soft, pressure-
sensitive items.
• During TURBO function, the vacuum pump
power will be increased.
Remarks
Location
Anti-slip and flat surfaces are suitable locations.
Supply cord
Fully unwind the mains cable from the rear of the
device.
Electrical connection
1. Ensure that the mains power corresponds to
the one of the appliance. Please refer to the
specifications on the type label.
2. Connect the supply cord to a properly installed
grounding receptacle.
Operation
To make a bag from bulky wrap foil
Sealing wrap foil is also available as bulk stock.
NOTE:
In order for the air to be vacuumed well, the wrap
foil must contain a special texture! This may be a
ribbed, honeycomb or diamond texture.
In order to make a bag from the bulk stock, pro-
ceed as follows.
1. Measure the desired length of the wrap foil.
2. Detach the wrap foil with a straight cut.
3. Fold the wrap foil at its middle.
4. Place the wrap foil onto the sealing wire and
close the lid. Press it down firmly for it to lock
audibly into place on both sides.
5. Press the SEAL button. After approx. 7 sec-
onds the blue light of the button will
turn off and the seam is sealed.
6. Press the release (8) to open the top.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 until you have made a bag
from the wrap foil.
To vacuum and seal a bag
You may now package items in the previously
made bag.
NOTE:
• Please also refer to the "Notes on Storing
Food" and chapter "Function of controls".
• Bags with liquids are only to be sealed! Liquid
could be sucked in. Only use SEAL function.
1. Place the items in the bag.
2. Place the open end of the bag inside the
vacuum chamber (9). The air intake (11) must
not be covered.
3. Avoid creasing! Smoothen the warp foil above
the sealing wire (10).
4. Close the top until it clicks into place.
5. Use the DRY / MOIST and/or NORMAL /
TURBO buttons to select a function as desired.
6. Press the VACUUM&SEAL button. The pro-
cess is completed once the indicator on the
button turns off.
