OVERHEAD INSTALLATION
Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper
installation can result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead rigging requires
extensive experience! Working load limits should be respected, certified installation materials
should be used, the installed device should be inspected regularly for safety.
Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during installation and
servicing.
Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, far away from any flammable materials and/or liquids.
Before installing make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10times the
device's weight.
The device should be well fixed; a free-swinging mounting is dangerous and may not be considered!
The operator has to make sure that the safety-relating and machine-technical installations are approved by
an expert before using them for the first time. The installations should be inspected every year by a skilled
person to be sure that safety is still optimal.
HINTS FOR MECHANICAL INSTALLATION:
[A] You can install the units on a wall by fixing it with 4 square hooks. This is a simple
way but not suitable if you want to install the units permanently or if you want to fix the
panels to the ceiling. In those case better use the method below.
[B] This method can be used to fix the panels permanently to
wall and ceiling. If needed, you can easily remove a panel for
servicing.
1. While installing on a wall, best start with the bottom row.
2. First check the hole distances needed to fix
the panels.
3. Draw the 4 drill holes for 1 panel on the
installation surface.
4. Make sure to select adapted anchors,
screws, lock washers and plugs for the
weight and installation surface.
5. Drill the holes with adapted diameter.
6. Install the first panel with the display faced down. To install
the individual panels, do the following:
Remove the 6 screws that keep the semi-transparent
cover in place.
Remove the semi-transparent cover gently.
You will see 4 big holes: fix the panels gently through
these holes, using the fixing materials you selected in
point (4).
Put the semi-transparent cover gently back in place and
fix the 2 frames back using the 6 screws.
Very important: first make a plan of your installation and
how you will connect the cables. Make the correct settings in
