Throttle control, decompression valve, choke lever and part throttle setting

The decompression valve is closed automatically when the motor is running.
If you need to pull the starter handle (16) more than once to start the engine (e.g. during a cold start), you
do not need to depress the decompression valve again.
Choke lever (19) and part throttle setting
The choke lever is pulled out (19) to close the starter flap on the carburettor (cold start setting).
Î This also activates the part throttle setting at the same time.
When the choke lever is pushed back in (the starter flap on the carburettor is open) the part throttle setting
remains active.
Operate the throttle control to cancel the part throttle setting.
This applies both when the engine is running and when it is switched off.
ENGLISH 14
Release of the throttle control (10)
x Grasp rear handle (6) with the right hand.
The throttle control lock (9) is operated with
the palm.
Î The throttle control (10) is released.
Decompression valve (21)
When the decompression valve (21) is
depressed, the compression pressure in the
combustion chamber is reduced. This means
that the engine offers less resistance during
start-up, which makes it noticeably easier to
start the engine.
