To access and edit the Load Stored option of the unit, use the following
procedure.
• From Program mode, press the UTILITY button
and use the PREV PG and NEXT PG button to
move to the page that appears as follows:
• Rotate the DATA wheel to select either On or Off..
5.8 Switch closure option
The Switch closure function is a feature available in the 240/241
DriveRack units. This feature allows control of key functions, such as
muting and program changes from a wall mounted switch. The following
information and application provides you with all of the information
necessary to utilize this powerful tool.
Note: Switch closure options can only be edited when security
clearance is high. Additionally, switch closure setups on the
241 can only be performed through the DriveWare software.
To setup the switch closure option from within the 240, the procedure is
as follows:
• From Program mode, press the UTILITY button
and use the PREV PG and NEXT PG button to
move to the page that appears as follows:
• Note that the underscore indicates the currently selected
parameter for editing. To select parameters to edit from the
current page, simply press the DATA wheel until the
underscore is under the parameter that you wish to edit.
• Once the parameter to edit has been selected,
rotate the DATA wheel to edit parameter values.
• If Switch closure is currently selected, you have
the option of selecting closures 1-4 to assign
functionality by simply rotating the DATA wheel.
• Once a switch port has been selected (1-4), you
will assign the type of switch (momentary or
latching) to be wired to a designated port. A latch
type switch is similar to a light switch with two
positions (on/off). A momentary switch typically
is a push button switch which sends a closed or
on signal only when it is being pressed.

5.8 Opción de interruptor remoto
Esta opción es una nueva función disponible en las unidades DriveRack
240/241. Esta función permite el control de cualquier tecla, como las de
anulación y cambio de programa desde un interruptor instalado en una
pared o similares. A continuación le incluimos toda la información
necesaria para utilizar esta potente función.
Nota: Las opciones de interruptor remoto solo pueden ser editadas
cuando el nivel de seguridad es alto. De forma adicional, los
ajustes de interruptor remoto del 241 solo pueden ser
realizados desde el programa DriveWare.
Para configurar la opción de interruptores remotos del 240, el proceso es
el siguiente:
• Desde el modo de programa, pulse el botón
UTILITY y use el botón PREV PG y NEXT PG
hasta que la pantalla tenga este aspecto:

• Observe que el subrayado indica el parámetro elegido en ese
momento para su edición. Para elegir los parámetros a editar en la
página activa, simplemente pulse la rueda DATA hasta que el
subrayado quede bajo el parámetro que quiera editar.
• Una vez que haya elegido el parámetro a editar,
gire la rueda DATA para editar los valores de los
parámetros.
• Si el sistema de interruptores remotos está elegido
en ese momento, tiene la opción de elegir los
bloques de disparo 1-4 para asignarles funciones
con simplemente girar la rueda DATA.
• Una vez que haya elegido un puerto de interruptor (1-
4), tendrá que asignarle el tipo de interruptor
(momentáneo o de bloqueo) que vaya a conectar al
puerto indicado. Un interruptor de tipo bloqueo es
similar a un interruptor de la luz que tiene dos posiciones
(encendido / apagado)positions (on/off). El ejemplo
típico de interruptor de tipo momentáneo es un botón
de pulsación de tipo timbre que envía una señal de
cerrado o activado solo cuando se mantiene pulsado.
