DESCALING
Descale your appliance in regular intervals (approx. every 3 –
6 months), depending on the frequency of use and the local
water quality.
Never use any sharp, pointed or metal objects to remove
limescale built up in the kettle.to remove limescale, use a
common gentle descaler, which is suitable for your appliance.
After descaling, always boil 4-5 kettles of water, which you
do not use but pour away. Use fresh water with each boiling
cycle. this procedure is necessary to remove any descaler
residues in the kettle.
Note: Descaler mixtures should not be poured down enamel
coated sinks.
