Introduction

WARNING! To prevent unintentional start
during transport:
• For battery powered models LC 141VLi
and LC 141Li, turn the safety key to "0",
remove the battery and wait at least 5
seconds.
• For cord powered model LC 141C,
disconnect the cord.

To set the product in transport position

The handle assembly can be folded to minimize space
needed for transport and storage.
1. Loosen the 2 knobs on the upper part of the handle
and fold the handle backwards.
Note: The upper part of the handle may only be
folded down backwards. If the handle is folded in the
wrong direction there is an increased risk of
damaging the cable.
2. Loosen the lower knobs.
3. Slide the knobs to the ends of the grooves on both
sides of the product.
4. Fold the handle forward.

Transportation

• The contained lithium-ion batteries are subject to the
Dangerous Goods Legislation requirements.
• For commercial transports e.g. by third parties,
forwarding agents, special requirement on packing
and labeling must be observed.
• For preparation of the item being shipped, consulting
an expert for hazardous material is required. Please
also observe possibly more detailed national
regulations.
• Always remove the battery for transport.
• Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up the
battery in such a manner that it cannot move around
in the packing.
• Secure the product during transport.

Storage

• Always remove the battery for storage.
• To prevent accidents, ensure that your battery is not
connected to the product when stored.
• Store the battery charger only in an enclosed and
dry space.
• Store the battery and the battery charger in a dry,
moisture-free and frost-free space.
• Store the battery separate from the battery charger.
• Do not store the battery in places where static
electricity can occur. Never store the battery in a
metal box.
• Store the battery where the temperature is between
5°C and 25°C and never in direct sunlight.
• Store the battery charger where the temperature is
between 5°C and 45°C and never in direct sunlight.
• Make sure the battery is charged to 30% - 50%
before storing for long periods.
• Store the product, battery and battery charger in a
lockable area so that it is out of reach of children and
unauthorized persons.
• Clean the product and carry out a complete service
before long-term storage.
