The LIPROTEC-EASY system

3.1 Overall system

The LIPROTEC-EASY system can be used to produce accent lighting according to the plug-
and-play principle. LED modules (LED tubes in combination with appropriate mounting pro-
files) are suitable for use in areas where humidity is high at times. The pre-assembled power
supply can be plugged into sockets that are already installed. It supplies the connected LED
modules with a voltage of 24 V.
The connected LED modules can be supplied with voltage at the 24 V output of the pow-
er supply by means of pre-assembled cables and distributors. A pre-assembled Bluetooth
receiver that can be integrated in the supply lines makes it possible for the connected LED
modules to be switched on and off and for preset lighting properties to be selected using the
associated radio remote control. The lighting properties can be adjusted individually using the
Schlüter
-LED-Color-Control app.

3.2 System components

Power supply »
The power supply operates as a switching power supply and transforms the AC voltage on
the mains side into a DC voltage of 24 V. The pre-assembled power supply is available in
different power variants. The mains cable is plugged into a power socket to this end. The
connection cable (already fitted) with pre-assembled plug connector supplies the connected
components with voltage.

WARNING!
Risk of fire due to overheating!
If the power supply overheats due to contamination (e.g. dust) or system
components overheat due to improper installation, there is a risk of fire.
Short-circuits in the LED system can also cause the cables to overheat,
which can also create a risk of fire.
– It is imperative that short-circuits be avoided.
– Clean the power supply on a regular basis (at least once a year). Prior
to cleaning the power supply, ensure that there is no voltage present.
– Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation when installing the power sup-
ply.
– Never install cables when they are rolled up. This does not apply to the
mains cable of the power supply.
