LIPROTEC-P Operating Instructions
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to leaks caused by cutting to
length!
If RGB+W-LED tubes are cut to length at the wrong angle, there is still a
risk of water penetration even after the adhesion of silicone sealing caps.
This can result in short circuits, fire, and electric shocks.
– Always make a 45° separation cut first.
– Then cut to length at a 90° angle as shown.
NOTE
Never cut LED tubes to length at the end where the connection
cable exits!
1. Ensure that the LED tube is disconnected from the power supply.
2. Mark the intended separation point on the top of the LED tube.
3. Turn the LED tube on its side.
4. Ensure that the cutting mark ensures a 3 mm cutting allowance »
5. Make the separation cut at a 45° angle »
6. Cut off the cutting allowance of the LED tube at a 90° angle »
> The area of the collar is cut off at a 90° angle from the top of the LED tube and short-
ened by the cutting allowance of 3 mm. A clean 45° cut runs through the remainder
of the LED tube.
7. Apply special adhesive to the adhesive surface of the silicone sealing cap »
8. Insert the silicone end cap into the LED tube that has been cut to length and press on it
for approx. 30 seconds.
> After a drying time of approx. 30 min, the silicone sealing cap is firmly glued in place.
The LED tube is sealed and can be used.

Personnel
Protective equipment
The components of the LED system are connected electrically by means of plug connec-
tors. Only one possible combination of system components is described below for example
purposes. During connection, note the possible combinations in the connection diagrams
( » "RGB+W-LED - Alt" on page 419 and » "W-LED" on page 420).
1. Ensure that the mains plug is not connected to the power supply.
2. Connect the Bluetooth receiver to the power supply.
3. Optional: Connect the Bluetooth receiver to a 2-way or 4-way distributor.
