WARNING!
Risk of injury due to leaks caused by cutting to
length!
If W-LED tubes are cut to length at the wrong angle, there is still a risk of
water penetration even after the adhesion of silicone sealing caps. This
can result in short circuits, fire, and electric shocks.
– Only cut W-LED tubes to length at a 45° angle as shown.
NOTE
Never cut LED tubes to length at the end where the connection
cable exits!
1. Ensure that the LED tube is disconnected from the power supply.
2. Mark the intended separation point on the outside of the LED tube.
3. Turn the LED tube on its side.
4. Cut off the LED tube from the separation mark on the underside at a 45° angle to the
outside, as shown »
5. Apply special adhesive to the adhesive surface of the silicone sealing cap »
6. Insert the silicone sealing cap into the LED tube that has been cut to length and press on
it for approx. 30 seconds.
> After a drying time of approx. 30 min, the silicone sealing cap is firmly glued in place.
The LED tube is sealed and can be used.

If RGB+W-LED tubes are cut to length, they are no longer protected against moisture. This
is why a silicone sealing cap must also be glued to RGB+W-LED tubes. In order to ensure
a perfect visual appearance and optimum sealing, the tubes must first be cut at a 45° angle
and then additionally at a 90° angle. This is in contrast to W-LED tubes. For a 45° cut, a cut-
ting allowance of 3 mm must be taken into account in this regard.
