Please observe this important note, if you want to use fat in
the fryer.
Fat must be melted slowly, so that it can enclose the heating
element.
If fat is inserted for the first time or re-melted, there is a risk
of overheating, if the selected temperature is too high!
Inserting Fat for the First Time.
• Liquefy the fat in advance in a separate vessel.
WARNING:
Never heat the fat above 50°C, to avoid injury when transfer-
ring.
• Fill the liquefied fat into the frying fat container.
• When the required oil level is reached, you can set the desired
temperature on the thermostat.
Reheating Hardened Fat in the Fryer
If the fat in the fryer has become hard, it is difficult to see how
much of it has already melted at the bottom near the heating ele-
ment.
• Turn the thermostat up slowly until the indicator light shows that
the heater is working.
Stop! Do not turn it any higher! The heater will now slowly
heat the fat.
• A short time later the heating will switch off again.
• Turn the heater on again by re-adjusting the thermostat.
• Repeat the process until the fat has melted.
