(Translation of the original instructions)
• Always keep children at a safe distance from the
area of machine operation. Any children near
the area must be supervised by another adult.
• Do not overload the machine by attempting to
clear snow at too fast a rate.
• Exercise caution when operating the machine
in reverse. Look behind before and during
reversing operations to make sure there are
no obstacles. • Never direct the discharge at
people. Never allow anyone to stand in front of
the snow thrower.
• Disengage the auger when the snow thrower is
transported from one location to another. Never
operate the machine at high transport speeds
on slippery surfaces.
• Use only accessories which have been
approved by the machine manufacturer.
• Never operate the snow thrower when there is
poor visibility or inadequate lighting.
• Always be sure of your footing and keep a firm
hold on the handle.
• Never touch hot engine parts. Burns hazard.
3.4
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• To ensure safe machine operation, regularly
tighten all fasteners which may have worked
loose. Check the shear bolts at more frequent
intervals (for example those which hold the
discharge chute in place).
• Use original spare parts only. Non-original
spares, not to mention incorrectly installed
spares, may cause injury.
• Never leave petrol in the tank if the machine is
to be stored in a building where petrol vapours
may come into contact with naked flames or
sparks.
• Always allow the engine to cool down before
putting the snow thrower into storage indoors.
• Before a period of prolonged storage, consult
the relative instructions.
• Replace any damaged instruction or warning
message decals immediately.
• After use, leave the engine running for a couple
of minutes with the auger engaged. This stops
the auger from freezing up.
