Operating instructions/
Function description
The control has been designed for different modes of
operation:
Dead-man OPEN/dead-man CLOSE
When keeping the button pressed, the gate will
start running towards OPEN until the end position
OPEN has been reached, or the gate run will be
interrupted by not pressing the button any longer.
The gate will be closed by keeping the
pressed (dead-man function) until the end position is
reached. If the button is released while the gate is
closing, the gate will stop immediately.
Dead-man operation with key switch only
for access by persons not specifically
instructed.
Pulse OPEN/dead-man CLOSE
The gate will start running towards OPEN until the end
position is reached by shortly pressing
or it will stop when the button is pressed. The
opening run will continue by pressing the

Dear customer,
the quality of the industrial gate control you
acquired has been checked several times by
the manufacturer during the manufacturing
process. Should one or the other part of the
control be verifiably unusable, or its
serviceableness be considerably restricted,
as a result of defects in the material or in the
manufacture, we shall, at our discretion, either
repair or replace such part free of charge.
No liability can be assumed for damage as a
result of defective installation work, inaccurate
commissioning, improper operation &
maintenance, unintended use as well as any
unauthorized changes to the drive
This operating mode requires the installation of an
edge safety device (menu 35). When the edge safety
device trips during a closing run the gate will stop and
the direction will be reversed. A tripped edge safety
device will not influence an opening run. In the event
of a defect, the gate can be closed by pressing the
button .
Lighting
The control is equipped with 1 relay output with which
the lighting is switched on/off (menu 45).

apply to damage caused by the shipment,
Force Majeure, external influence or natural
wear and tear, especially atmospheric
conditions. No liability can be assumed if
unauthorized changes have been made or
functional parts have been tampered with. We
shall be immediately notified of any defects in
writing; the parts concerned shall be sent to us
on request. We shall bear neither the
disassembly and re-assembly costs nor the
freight costs and postage. Should a complaint
turn out to be unsubstantiated, the party
lodging the complaint shall bear the costs.

Warranty terms

• Maintenance/Inspections
The gate shall be inspected by
a specialist firm during the
commissioning and when the
arises thereafter, but at least once a
year.
Service
If a number of cycles has been selected in menu
90, the operating mode will automatically change
into the dead-man mode after the number of
selected cycles has expired. The display will show
E5E.
This warranty is only valid in connection with
the receipted invoice and commences on the
day the product has been delivered. The
manufacturer warrants that the product is
free from any defects.
The warranty period amounts to 24 months,
provided the form on the back is correctly
filled in. The warranty period ends in any case
27 months after the date of manufacture.
