Only use the supplied power supply.
1. Connect the charger (1) to a wall socket (Illus-
ration 1).
2. Connect the plug to the charger (2) in the
charging socket (3) on the handle of the
Hammesmith Drill&Screw. The red-LED-char-
ging indicator (4) lights up when the battery is
charged. It switches itself off when the battery
is fully-charged.
PLEASE NOTE: During the charging process, a cut-off activates – which prevents
unsupervised use of the appliance. This cut-off deactivates automatically following
completion of the charging process.
SETTING UP AND OPERATION
Changing the drill bits
CAUTION: In order to prevent unsupervised activation of the battery-powered screw
gun during changing, make sure that the rotation direction switch has been placed at the
centre position, so that the tool cannot be started up.
1. Slide the carriage (1) backwards until it reaches a
noticeable stopping position. (Illustration 2)
2. Turn the bit barrel as far as the required bit (3). If you
have selected the correct bit, look into the enlargement
window. (Illustration 3)
3. Move the carriage again fully forward. The required bit is
now ready for use.
PLEASE NOTE:
➔ Furthermore, you can insert all commercially available bits in the barrel and
use with their appliance.
Rotation direction adjustment and release switch
With the rotation direction switch you can alter the rotation direction of the battery
powered screw gun.
Wear safety goggles when tool changing. Do not
look directly into the tool holder. The tool bit can be
catapulted out when being changed.
