10. Allow the appliance to cool.
11. Wipe the baking surfaces thoroughly with a dry kitchen towel.
USE
In this waffle iron the batter is simultaneously baked on both sides between the heated
waffle plates. The degree of browning of the waffles can be adjusted by setting the
temperature control.
Caution:
• Steam emerges from the side of the waffle iron during the baking process. Do not touch
- danger of scalding!
• The appliance becomes hot while in use. Make sure that nobody touches the hot parts of
the appliance while it is in use. If necessary, use oven gloves and only touch the appliance
using the handle provided.
1. Place the waffle iron on an even surface that is resistant to heat and splashes.
2. Close the waffle iron and insert the plug in a wall socket.
3. Turn the temperature control to the medium-high setting. The red indicator light shows
that the appliance is heating up. As soon as the selected temperature is reached, the red
indicator light goes off and the green one lights up. The waffle iron is ready for baking.

light turns on. The waffle iron is now baking. At the end of the baking process, the green
indicator lamp lights up again. If the waffle is not brown enough, let it bake a moment
longer.
Caution: To avoid damaging the non-stick coating of the waffle plates, only use heat-
resistant wooden or plastic utensils to remove the waffles.
7. Lift up the upper part of the waffle iron as soon as the waffle is ready, and take the
waffle out. To do so, slightly lift the waffle on one side using a fork or similar and take it
out using a turner. If a waffle has become too light or too dark, choose a slightly higher or
