6. Connecting the recorder into the network

With the recorder's IP address and other settings saved, connect it to the existing network. If the
PC's IP address also has been newly set to meet the existing network, use Internet Explorer in
reconnecting it to the recorder. Now register the network camera/encoder in the recorder and
make images appear onscreen. Check the images for anything unusual.

6-1. Registering the network camera/encoder

Register the network camera/encoder in the recorder.
Select the "O" button of a blank line on the "list of cameras". Enter the IP address (or host
name) and HTTP port number of the network camera/encoder in the "IP address/host name"
and "HTTP port number" boxes. Click on "Register".
To register two or more network cameras, do the same as above one by one. When all the
cameras have been registered, click on "Save" at the bottom of the screen.
* Never forget to click on "Save". Otherwise the settings will not be registered.
