8. Troubleshooting
Before asking for servicing, check the following points.
Problem
No power supplied
Failure to interact
with the PC
ERROR LED on
* For troubles with the PC connected, refer to "Troubleshooting" in the Applied Instructions.
• Is the power cable plugged in tightly?
• Is the main power switch at the "I" (ON) position?
• Are the IP address and subnet mask as specified?
• Is the LAN cable type (straight or cross) as specified?
• Is the LAN cable tightly connected?
• Is the hub power on?
• Is connection with the hub as specified?
• The hard disk drive is in trouble. Turn off the power and
contact your local dealer or Ikegami's Customer Service
Department.
