In the case of the complicated example 2, the jack
may not be just anywhere, since the calculation of the
centre of gravity has shown that it is not in the centre.
Depending on the lifting side, different lifting points for
the jack are obtained. Two diagonals are drawn into
the opposite corners of the desired lifting side through
the centre of gravity. As a result, the opposite side is
the axis of rotation. The other two opposite sides are
prohibited as lifting points within the triangle, since
here the load to be lifted would tilt.
The following examples show the graphic determination
of the lifting side on all four sides of the load to be
lifted.
