• Proper assembly and safe use of your appliance are your responsibilities. Your appliance is intended only for household use. The
appliance should be stored in a dry indoor area. Read the Operating Instructions carefully for important use and safety information.
• Special care is required when vacuuming certain types of carpet or floor covering.
Always check the carpet or floor covering manufacturer's recommended cleaning instructions before vacuuming.

When using this appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:
1. DO NOT leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge of the product, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
3. To reduce the risk of electric shock, DO NOT use for outdoors or on wet surfaces.
4. DO NOT allow appliance to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
5. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
6. DO NOT pull the appliance beyond its Power Cord length.
7. DO NOT use with a damaged Power Cord or Plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped into water,return it to a service center.
8. DO NOT pull or carry by Power Cord, use Power Cord as a handle, close a door on Power Cord or pull Power Cord around sharp edges or
corners. DO NOT run appliance over Power Cord. Keep Power Cord away from heated surfaces.
9. DO NOT unplug by pulling on Power Cord. To unplug, grasp the Plug not the Power Cord.
10. DO NOT handle Plug or appliance with wet hands.
11. DO NOT put any object into openings. DO NOT use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
12. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
13 DO NOT pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
14. DO NOT use the appliance without Filter and Dust Compartment in place.
15. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
