5. Start-up operation

Charging the rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery in the operating element must be char-
ged for at least 3-4 hours prior to first use or after not having
been used for a long time. The rechargeable heat belt is designed
for 1.5 -4 hours of use. The rechargeable battery must be rechar-
ged after that time. Always load the rechargeable battery at room
temperature.
To do this, first connect the charger to a power outlet and then
connect it to the operating element. The rechargeable battery is
completely charged if the green LED (1) lights up. Disconnect
the charger from the power network and the operating element
from the charger.
Readiness for operation
Connect the plug of the heat belt to the operating element and
insert the rechargeable battery into in the designated pocket. Set
the desired heat level (1-4) by pushing repeatedly.
