The Classic Pet Fountain stimulates your pet and promotes its well-being and health.
WARNING: When using electrical devices, basic precautions must always be taken, including the following instructions:
•
Makes sure that the adaptor has been unplugged from the socket before any attempt is made to handle the device.
•
Before connecting the device, check that the voltage indicated on the device matches the local mains voltage.
•
Remove the filter from the plastic bag.
•
Destroy the plastic bag completely.
•
Keep out of reach of children.
•
Rinse the filter with cold water before using it to remove excess carbon.
•
As with any electrical appliance, always check that the power cable is not damaged before using it.
•
To maintain good sanitary conditions, clean the product regularly.
Note: Never operate the fountain without water. You may damage the fountain if you turn it on while the water level is
below the MIN indicator level.
Note: Check the water level regularly. Add water when its level is at MIN. Otherwise, the pump will make loud noises and the
water will not be able to be pumped and the pump will become damaged.
1) Lift off the top part of the fountain bowl (image 1)
2) Take out and rinse the filter with fresh water before installing it in the fountain (image 2)
(rinsing will remove any dust from the charcoal, which is harmless to animals)
3) Install the filter in the area provided in front of the water pump. Carefully place the white face of the filter towards the
front part of the fountain
4) Adjust to the desired power of the flow on the pump (towards "+" for a more powerful flow (image 3)
5) Place one of the 2 caps provided on the top part of the bowl (image 4)
6) Place this top part back on the fountain
7) Move the fountain to the place of your choosing. You should consider adding a protective layer under the fountain if you
want to protect your floor
8) Replace the bowl taking care to respect the minimum water level indicated inside the bowl (image 5)
9) Connect the plug to the mains
10) Wait 1-2 minutes for the pump to start
You should consider cleaning your fountain regularly. The cleaning frequency depends on the number of animals that use
the fountain. The more animals that use it, the greater the need to clean it regularly.
Filter: For an optimum use of the fountain, the charcoal filter must be changed every month.
Fountain: Clean your fountain ideally every 2 weeks, in keeping with the following instructions:
1) Lift off the top part of the fountain
2) Disconnect the power cord and the rubber plug located on the top part (image 6)
3) Completely empty the bowl
4) Remove the filter
5) Remove the pump (unhook the suction pads located underneath) and the power cable (image 7)
6) Rinse using warm/hot soapy water
