For capacitor banks equiped with the option « smoke detection », it is imperative to feed the auxiliary
system of fire detection.
A « secured » 230 Vac voltage supply has to be connected to the terminal of the circuit breaker
(Legrand ref ; no.05828 ). It is located on the auxilairy DIN rail « smoke detection » besides
230Vac/24V DC .

If the supply voltage of the smoke detection system is not connected, the fire protection in not
activated and blocks the supply of the controller on front panel. Beware, the capacitor bank can be
under voltage even if the controller is switched off.
The feeding phase of controller which goes through G E terminals is shunt to X1 X2 terminals before
feeding the controller:
When no presence of smoke is detected, the contact between X1 and X2 is closed : => the
controller is ON
When a presence of smoke is detected the contact between X1 and X2 is opened :
=> the controller is OFF
