15.4.4

Power Stage

Press the selection key >> (6) as long as necessary to select the power stage (Indicator
lamp power stage (3)). The preset power stage "5" is selected and the device turns on.
With the + / - Keys (7+8), you can change the settings at any time in a range from 1 – 10
(1-5).
► We recommend to select the function "Power stage" in case of steaming food or boiling
water for example. So the overheating protection "E5" will not be activated.

Temperature Mode

Press the selection key >> (6) as long as necessary to select the temperature mode
(Indicator lamp temperature (4)).
The preset temperature stage "120" is selected and the device turns on.
With the + / - keys (7+8), you can change the settings at any time in a range from 60 –
240 °C. (Temperature stages: 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220 and 240°C)
► In case of grilling or cooking deep fry food we would advise you to use the function
"Temperature" as in this case you can use temperatures up to 240°C. Otherwise the
overheating protection "E5" will be activated.
► Please note that the device may use less power when using the temperature mode than
when using the power stages.
15.4.6

Timer

After the selection of the temperature mode press selection key >> (6) until the
corresponding control lamps (5) lights up. The display shows the number "0". With the + /
- keys (7+8), you can now select the operating time in 1-minute intervals (up to max. 180
minutes). Once the time is up, an acoustic signal sounds and the device automatically
goes into standby mode.
► During timer operation, you can change the duration at any time with the + / - keys
(7/8). With the memory function of the device, the power stage or temperature settings
remain unchanged here.
► During the cooking process the temperature, power level and timer can be readjusted
as you wish.
15.4.7

Lock function (children lock key)

The lock function prevents unsupervised use of the device or unintended changing of
settings.
Activating the child lock: Press the Lock key (10), all keys will be blocked except Master
On/Standby (1), to avoid mal-operation.
After locking, induction hotplates continue to heat in the preset temperature or power
stage. Also the timer continues counting.
Disable the child lock: Press the Lock key (10) until the status indicator switches off.
