6.2 Fastening the control electronics
Note the following information when selecting a location to fit the control
electronics:
Note the length of the sensor cables.
The control electronics may not be damaged if you have luggage or
objects in the boot.
➤ Pull off the protective foil and stick the control electronics in a suitable
position in the boot.
Caution!
Do not expose the control electronics to dampness.
6.3 Fastening the loudspeaker
The loudspeaker is fitted near the dashboard (fig. h, page 9).
Note the following when you select the installation location:
Take the length of the connection cable to the control electronics into
account.
Mount the loudspeaker so that there is no danger of injury if you have to
brake sharply.
Do not fit the loudspeaker where an airbag may open. This could cause
injury if the airbag opens.
➤ Fasten the loudspeaker at a suitable place on the dashboard.
