6.3 Installation of DH-12 Vehicle Hitch

6.3.4 Mounting the DH-15 Pintle Hitch Adapter to the DH-12
Vehicle Hitch Mount Sleeve

Align DH-12 and DH-15 and insert
pin into hole sets.

Mount pintle hitch adapter over pintle
hitch.

Tighten tri- screw, located on the
bottom side of the pintle hitch adapter.

Insert cotter pin through the vehicle
pintle hitch adapter.
5
Slide DH-12 sleeve over the post, as
shown, and insert pin making sure
the sleeve is level with the ground.

The Pintle Hitch Adapter installs between the DH-12 and the attendant vehicle and
mates to pintles hitches found on emergency vehicles.
