5 | How to use

Make sure that you always load the bags evenly. The maximum load of 5 kg per bag must not be
exceeded.
Carefully close the zippers on all compartments. Pull the zippers on the main compartments to the
rear and secure them with a mini padlock to prevent them from being opened unintentionally.
Compress the suspension fully several times with your motorbike stationary, and check that neither
the saddlebags nor the lashing straps can come into contact with the exhaust or rear wheel. It is
essential that you repeat this check before every trip and again every 200 km.
The saddlebags are made of water-resistant (but not 100% waterproof) materials and are pre-trea-
ted. When riding in the rain, it is imperative that you use the integrated rain covers and provide any
sensitive items inside (especially electronic devices, e.g. MP3 players and mobile phones etc.) with
additional protection from moisture using waterproof bags or a plastic bag.

6 | Storage and care

Store the saddlebags in a closed room which is protected from the weather and moisture. Use a
suitable waterproofer to provide the saddlebags with additional protection. Clean the saddlebags by
hand using warm soapy water and a soft cloth only. Never use harsh cleaning products or similar.
After cleaning, apply a textile proofer to weatherproof the outer surface and restore its water and
dirt-repellent properties.

7 | Warranty

Your saddlebags are covered by the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins on the
date of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other than the
intended purpose, or damage caused by an accident, manipulation or an attempt to carry out repairs
by unauthorised persons.

8 | Disposal

Packaging disposal
Please dispose of the packaging appropriately. Dispose of card and cardboard with the
waste paper and dispose of plastic film with recyclables.

If you wish to dispose of the saddlebags, dispose of them with residual waste, or hand them over at a
recycling centre.
