Preparation

4.1

Initial start-up and longer breaks in use

➢ Sterilize the instrument and accessories prior to startup.

➢ Clean and maintain the instrument after longer breaks in use.

Prior to starting the work day

➢ Purge the water and air channels for 30 seconds.

Before each patient

1. Purge the water and air channels for 30 seconds.

2. CAUTION! Keep the motor running.
Insert the instrument [ → 27].
3. Insert the burr instrument [ → 28].
4. Set a sufficient amount of cooling water (> 50 ml/min) [ → 35].
