USING THE ELECTRIC SLICER & GREATER
•
Assemble the hopper (2) onto the base (1) containing the motor.
Then fit the desired cone onto the hopper (2) and, while pressing it onto the clutch, rotate
it counter clockwise 1/4 of a turn until it stops (fig. C).
Depending on the kind of food you wish to cut or grater, insert a suitable cone for
the slicing or grating task.
Insert the plug into the power point, press the on/off switch (5) to switch on the appliance.
•
Always use the provided presser (4) to push the food into the hopper.
•
This appliance can be used either standalone positioned in a solid base or directly over the
bowl by holding strong the handle.
WARNING: never use your hands or any objects other than the provided presser (4).
IMPORTANT: do not press the presser too hard (4) to prevent the motor from slowing down

IMPORTANT SUGGESTION
•
Before to put the food into the hopper cut it in a smaller size.
•
To obtain small pieces insert the food vertically (not more than one piece at a time).
•
To obtain longer and thinner pieces or slices insert the food horizontally.
•
Best results are obtained with food of a certain hardness. In case the food is not hard enough
it is advisable to place it in the freezer until it becomes hard.
•
Do not use the appliance to chop food which is too hard (for example: ice cubes).
•
The motor may stop or the rollers may get mixed if food which is too soft is used or if there is
too much pressure or the appliance is used for too long.
•
In the event that this happens immediately switch the appliance off by pressing the switch (5),
disconnect the plug from the socket, remove the funnel and the roller and clean perfectly.
AFTER THE USE
•
Disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
•
Disassemble the appliance by rotating the food hopper (E) counter clockwise and then
remove it.
•
Remove the cone and pull out the hopper outwards (fig. 4).
CARE & MAINTENANCE
•
Disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
•
Disassemble the appliance by rotating the food hopper (E) counter clockwise and then
remove it.
To make cleaning easier wash attachments and parts immediately after using them.
All the attachments except the motor base (1) can be washed in water or in the upper part of a
dishwasher. The motor base must be cleaned with a damp cloth and then perfectly dried off.
In case the appliance should be stained after using, cleaning it with vegetable oil or mayonnaise is
advisable.
