ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS
- Storage: The packaging should be stored in covered, protected places, at temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +40 °C, and
should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
- Packaging opening: Upon arrival of the machine, check that it did not get damaged during transportation and that all the
parts stated in the packing list are available. When opening the packaging, it is important to take all the required precautions to
avoid damage to people and the parts of the machine, using appropriate Personal Protection Devices (PPDs).
- Packing List:
- 1 jack item 3050/K;
- 1 ramp;
- 1 front wheel stop;
- 1 copy of the "Operation and Maintenance Instructions"
- Packaging removal: The wood of the pallet, the cardboard and the sheets of plastic material of the packaging can be both
reused and recycled. However, they should be kept out of the reach of children, as they may pose potential hazards.
5. DESCRIPTION OF JACK
The jack is fixed – that is, it must be FIXED to the ground and is designed and built to lift motorcycles (only) and keep
them lifted.
The jack is composed of the following main parts:
1) Fixed Structure Unit (base fixed to the ground);
2) Moving Unit (lifting surface + moving arms);
3) Hydraulic Lifting Piston (Cylinder);
4) Safety System and Safety Catches;
5) Control System.
Figure 1 shows several parts of the jack.
1) FIXED STRUCTURE UNIT: It is made up of a weld sheet steel base, with holes for fixing to the ground by means of screw
anchors (see section "Installation and Assembly"). The base accommodates the holes for connecting the lifting arms and
the guide rails for the wheels made of synthetic material.
2) MOVING UNIT: It is made up of a platform and tubular weld steel arms, connected to the ends by means of pins and
anchored to the base by means of sliding supports made of synthetic material.
3) LIFTING CYLINDER: It is made up of a (simple effect) hydraulic cylinder connected - by means of a hose – to a hydraulic
pump, which is, in turn, operated by an electric motor.
4) SAFETY SYSTEM: It is made up of a double toothed rack with a moving rod which is firmly anchored to the moving lifting
and supporting arms. The rod is automatically operated (through a pneumatic cylinder) upon release of the red button on
the push-button panel.
5) CONTROL AND POWER SYSTEM: It is made up of an electrohydraulic system, which is composed of an electric motor.
This is controlled through a manual push-button panel, which operates a hydraulic pump, which produces pressure in a
hydraulic circuit.
